Our massage oil base by Arabah® is an pharmaceutical grade natural white oil which is proven to be an excellent moisturiser and emollient.
Emollient means "having the power of softening or relaxing living tissues, soothing especially to the skin". It is commonly found in many pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic products (eg. paraffin oil, creams and lotions, bath oils, lipsticks, lip gloss, sunscreens, hair products, make up bases and removers).
White oil is also used in the making of bread, processing of grain, packaging and processing of various foods. It is even used as a defoamer for fresh fruit and vegetables.

Its extensive use in applications apart from massage shows its safety and reliability. Consequently, we are amazed that masseurs still use vegetable based oils which clog their towels sending them rancid.
